male cat with a half-tail; he is (or at least was) very friendly, orange

Be careful with your pets! Evidently, our neighboring
subdivision association has instructed its owners to call the pound if they
see stray animals. We are planning on asking them to contact one of the
rescue organizations, CAAWS,
Cat Haven or
APaws (www.caaws.org,
http://www.cathaven.org/ or
http://www.apawspets.org/contact.html) in lieu of the animal control.

here.Suggestions will be appreciated.
